LOVE IS FREE

This film doesn’t just show skating, it feels like a moment frozen in time. one of the best videos ever made about roller skating culture, it captures the spirit that shaped a generation. These skaters weren’t performing for an audience, They were skating for each other, learning together, falling hard, laughing it off and expanding what was possible on quad skates.

Greg Mirzoyan doesn’t just document tricks, he documents people. The in-between moments, the joy, the chaos, the friendships and a shared passion that goes far beyond rolling on wheels. This is skating as an attitude turning into culture, a mirror for a generation and a reminder of why so many of us laced up in the first place.

It’s worth revisiting again and again, reminding us to build bridges, repair friendships and look for ways to revive the spirit that made roller skating feel so special.
