We asked Burdy what does it mean for her to have a team and work with this group of talented skaters:
“Having an ambassador team was important for me from the beginning of the "Burdy journey"... Sponsoring them by offering free products is the best way to enable them to practice their passion with the best materials on the market. I know how important it is to have good equipment when you train almost every day (by passion or for work). It is also the best way to get feedback on the equipment and to be able to properly advise clients who seek advices. There is no better way back than an experienced skater who has tested boots, wheels, bearings or plates! It is direct feedback "from the field". Each of them has a different skating and practice.
Marilys is a derby player and she plays for the France Team, very high level in derby. As I want to develop my equipment range in derby, she will help me a lot to make my product selection.
In skate park, Eva does a lot of aerial tricks, she needs equipment that holds the impacts.
Thais is a fast and precise skater, and she has a very precise analysis of her material, she quickly knows what is suitable for her skating or not.
Sabine is a street skater; as the streets are hard to skates, this is the best way to know which equipment is strong enough for it.
And finally, Sidje who skates almost everyday for her practice and her classes, she puts a strain on equipment over time.”
